About
I enjoy linework, depicting the swoop of a leg in one beautiful line, a figure in as few marks as possible and letting your eyes fill in the rest. My marks feel like improv jazz, not thinking, just reacting to the energy of the room, the clothes, the person in front of me. My hand often sees something my eyes can't. Every mark is spontaneous, quick and unfiltered. I work in paint, ink, pastel and charcoal.
I became fascinated with drawing the figure whilst studying Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins. People and the way they present themselves are the most interesting thing in the room. My background in fashion adds another layer - I can draw beautiful clothes because I know how to make them, what the material feels like, how they hang.
Since then I have been working with luxury brands and creatives across a range of projects and collaborations. If you'd like to work together, get in touch.
